Crossing the Chasm
                                 by Bonn
                                           Acrylic on canvas  18 x 24

Crossing the Chasm is a painting about the great leap from conscious mind to conscious spirit.
It displays the change in energy and the change in lighting that occurs with this change of
consciousness.
The horses that first appeared in the upper right hand corner of the painting are in a race with
one another.  There is no inner light, only the impelling force from outside, impelled by the
riders who have crops and saddles and urgency that is like the force of one’s genetic ancestry.
When the horses come to the deep dark chasm diagonally across the canvas, they are
momentarily stopped in their race by the blue of devotion that still creates a chasm between
them and their higher self and by the red of loyal tribal identity that keeps them separated from
and competitive with others.  They are worried about the yawning chasm.  And yet the other
horses that are in front of them are successfully making the crossing. They are drawn by the
light to take the leap.
As they leap they become filled with inner light and also cease the race and jump in a beautiful
formation with the other horses, heading toward the gold of higher consciousness and oneness.

                Calling the Spirit
                                                                  by Bonn
                                                    20" x 16" Acrylic on canvas

The first image that appeared in Calling the Spirit was the blue horse seeming to be moving to
the right and off the page.  Then the rider appeared and I wondered what they were skittishly
skirting.  Then I noticed that a lone figure in dark maroon was meditating.  The horse and rider
seemed to be giving him the space, going around him.
Suddenly the other figures in the meditation circle were very physically there and all intent on
creating a circle to connect to spirit.  I realized that they had called the spirit by a blend of
thought and heart.
Moonboat Going Over Niagara Falls
by Bonn
36" x 24 3/4" Oil on Pressed Board

I had reached a point in my life where I felt as though my dreams
were going by me so fast that there was no way I could ever
realize even one of them, even if I had a boat  to float one in.
