Art Supply Suggestions for 2011 Plein Air Workshops:
For best results:
1. Bring supplies you are familiar with using. 2. Keep it simple and portable. Use a cloth shopping bag from your grocery store or a back pack to carry supplies. 3. Bring a sketch pad and pencil for notes and quick sketches. 4. Bring an light easel and a light stool or chair so you can paint in locations. We will be going out in nature during our painting sessions. Dress appropriately for the weather. 5. Bring Paper towels and hand wipes. 6. Camera. A quick way to sketch a scene.
If you are DRAWING:
Bring Paper, Pencils or Charcoal, Eraser, Pencil sharpener. Pastels, colored pencils, or crayons enable you to draw in color.
